Diprolene AF Cream is used for the treatment of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. It acts by reliving the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations. Diprolene is not recommended for use by patients younger than 13 years of age.
The maximum weekly dose of Diprolene AF Cream is 45g. Apply a thin layer of Diprolene AF Cream to the affected area once or twice a day.
Warnings Precautions
Follow strictly your doctor’s instructions when using Diprolene AF Cream. Use Diprolene for its prescription purposes only. Do not use Diprolene over a longer period of time than prescribed. Diprolene is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not bandage, covered or wrap the affected area.
Missing a Dose
In case of missing a dose, apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule if it is almost time for your next dose. Never apply two doses of Diprolene Cream at the same time.
Possible Side Effects
Signs of skin atrophy (telangiectasia, bruising, shininess) have been reported during a pediatric clinical study of the possible side effects of Diprolene AF Cream.
Storage
Store between 2?°and 30?°C (36?° and 86?° F).
Overdose
In case of a suspected overdose, discontinue the treatment with Diprolene and seek medical help. The use of Diprolene AF Cream may result in systemic effects.
More Information
Diprolene AF Cream is not recommended for use by patients who have a history of hypersensitivity to betamethasone dipropionate or other corticosteroids.
