Lamisil is recommended for the treatment of toe and fingernail onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes. Lamisil is administered orally in the form of tablets, usually once a day over a period of 6 weeks for fingernail fungus and once a day over a period of 12 weeks in cases of toenail fungus.
